Words to use in a sentence

Flashcards for the professor’s word and concept list (Lectures 1–3)

ImportantPartial list: the full list is coming

The lecturer will upload the complete list of words you should be able to use in a sentence, for example when talking with doctors. These cards contain the words and concepts noted so far (lecture notes, 29 September). Cards will be added when the full list is available.

How to use the cards. Read the word, write your own sentence in the box (as if explaining it to a doctor), then flip the card to compare with the definition and a model sentence. Mark the card I can use it or Practise again. Your marks are saved in this browser only.

Show all cards as a list

From the lecture notes of 29 September: “Words to be able to use in a sentence (from the first three lectures)”, the words and concepts noted from the professor’s list, and two items listed as “uncertain about use”. The definitions and model sentences are written for this app. “Intron, exon” is on the list but not covered in the slides the app is built from, so its card has no lecture link.
